The 50 Roses Foundation, organizers of last Saturday’s Rosé Day in the Central West End, reported the sale of 1100 tickets to the 2021 event. Their efforts raised $10,000 earmarked for ten non-profit organizations whose work empowers women and girls. Members of the participating non-profits handed out information to attendees alongside 10 rosé sampling stations, which were situated along the Euclid corridor from Laclede to McPherson. In addition, a pop-up Rosé Day Marketplace occupied the large parking lot at the southwest corner of Euclid and Lindell.
It was a joy to see so many groups of friends enjoying a beautiful afternoon in the neighborhood after the constraints we’ve all experienced this past year due to the pandemic.
