After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, organizers of Rosé Day have announced the festival’s return on Saturday, May 1 from Noon to 6 p.m. The event will take place throughout the Central West End Business District.
A portion of sales proceeds supports non-profit organizations in the St. Louis area that work to empower women and girls. They include: Habitat for Humanity Women Build, Susan G. Komen, Safe Connections, Pink Ribbon Girls, Hawthorne School for Girls, Planned Parenthood of Eastern Missouri, Center for Women in Transition, Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation Initiative, St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness, Prosperity Connection and Missouri Jobs Daughter’s.
When you purchase a Rosé Day ticket, $35, you’ll have an opportunity to designate which non-profit you wish to support. Each of the participating organizations will have representatives at wine-sampling stations, so you can learn more about their good work.
To give you an idea of what fun is in store, here is a link to 2019’s and 2018’s Rosé Day. The event sells out fast, so gather your friends and plan an outing celebrating those friendships and the passage of a year we’ll never forget.
On May 1, stop at the Maryland Plaza fountain to pick up your wine glass and passport to 10 tasting stations. There will be live entertainment throughout the day, art displays, pop-up vendors, and our wonderful neighborhood shops will be decked out for the occasion.
