10denza, 44 Maryland Plaza, is one of the few shops in the neighborhood that carry gifts for children. Among the selections you'll find this season are clever stocking stuffers from kidrobot priced from $1.95 to $9.95, and the labbit, designed by the artist Frank Kozik, above. The plush white stash labbits (if you didn't know, the mustache is its distinguishing feature) are $16 and $30; labbit ornaments are $7.95.
This is the first year 10denza has carried Alp-n-Rock shirts for girls (ages 8-9), $88. Alp-n-Rock shirts in men's and women's sizes, $175 to $215, enjoy a cult following and sell out quickly. There were still a few in stock when I visited the shop yesterday.

When I visited AG on Maryland Plaza to ask what gift idea they would suggest I feature on the blog, shop employee Daniel immediately pointed to this beautiful jacket, above, which he said everyone swooned over when it arrived in the store. The fully-lined bomber-style jacket with leather trim in a blue & teal boucle-knit is $325. The jacket, made in the USA, is also available in grey, black, and cream, below.
There are lots of other gift ideas at AG including this handsome wool-blend navy blue cardigan for men from the store's Italian collection, $225.

You can't go wrong stopping in Bissinger's, 32 Maryland Plaza, for a holiday gift. Milk chocolate Santas are available in three sizes, $19, $25, & grande, $59. The Christmas assortment in the gold box is $8 and milk chocolate mice ornaments in the Nutcracker package pictured above are $15 for six. According to Bissinger's website: "…the mice were originally made for a customer over 30 years ago, in honor of the infamous holiday verse, 'not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.' "
