A team of young performers from Circus Kaput, who have been seen at CWE "Local Social" events, changed gears completely (look here) to create balloon animals as fast as they could to keep up with demand.
Following the parade it was Trick or Treat time at neighborhood businesses. That's Tambora Mills, above, handing out delicious Bissinger's chocolates. There were plenty of adults who had their hands out for treats from this shop as well.

Thanks to all of the neighborhood businesses for being so welcoming and generous. It's important for everyone to know that these wonderful community events don't just happen on their own. There are several organizations and many dedicated volunteers responsible for the planning and resources that go into them. Following more posts about the weekend's events, I'll share that information with you. It really does take a Village…
Next up: The Dog Parade…plus one guinea pig!
