As I was reviewing my stash of photos to decide which to post following Saturday's canine parade, I remembered that the dog parade posts seem to get more hits each year than the children's parade or the adult costume contest. Perhaps you're as surprised as I am that dog owners are able to wrestle their pets into these costumes. There'll be more pictures tomorrow.

Judges included Jennifer Kreps, Kritter Kare Pet Sitting, Michelle Clark, Paul Mitchell The School (who said she knows a thing or two about fluffy puppies), Matthew Braun, Gamlin Whiskey House & Andrew from Sub-Zero.
"Bad Dog" waited patiently while his owner ordered lunch from Gringo's taco stand at Euclid & McPherson.
It was no surprise that the Cardinal cheerleader was awarded first prize in the "cutest" category.
