Alderman Lyda Krewson sent photos of an annual moonflower vine, above, that's growing in her front yard. The evening she sent these photographs she counted twenty-five blooms.
Lyda emailed: "CWEnder Deborah Dolgin cultivates the moonflower seeds and
usually gives me a plant. I also have one volunteer plant. The moonflower vine literally
grows feet everyday. At the end of May it was only 6 inches tall. The vine likes sun, this one is planted next to the house facing south and west."
