Photos from last week’s highly successful Window Walk in the Central West End should help motivate you to get out and join the festivities planned for tomorrow’s events, Saturday, December 19. This will be the final Window Walk celebration of the 2020 season, which has turned out to be one of the best-ever holiday seasons in the CWE. Perhaps it is pent-up energy and a desire to find some normalcy in an unsettling year but, whatever the reasons, the last couple of Saturdays have brought large numbers of visitors to the neighborhood making the streets seem more festive than ever. The shops and restaurants are open too, adhering to CDC guidelines.
Reggie and the Hip-Hop Mamas made a surprise appearance on Maryland Plaza, above & below.
Talented jugglers from Circus Kaput will be out again tomorrow.
A pianist, stationed inside a trailer provided by the CWE’s Jackson Piano, played holiday tunes on McPherson.
Carolers are shown entertaining an appreciative audience (plus one) on Maryland Plaza.
The two photos above right were taken outside Barrett Barrera’s extravagant Holiday Blow-up, 4738 McPherson.
And, not to be missed is the highly popular St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s A Walking Xmas Tale on Maryland Plaza which continues until December 23.
